So, your troop can attack and may also defend once the opponent is attacking on their turn. This can really help with both applying pressure to an opponent and staying back to defend your health total.
Steadfast plays very well with Swiftstrike, which really improves the combat effectiveness of any troop by allowing you to get twice as many chances to make combat a nightmare for opponents.
